I was completely terrifed of going to the dentist or even going in for an exam, because I knew that after all the years of not going to the dentist and all the extreme pain I was feeling from my teeth, that I needed some serious work done. My only reason for not going to the dentist was due to my past experience with dentists and my complete fear of getting dental work done. After reading other patient reviews and reaching a point where I was unable to eat anything without my teeth hurting, I scheduled an exam with Dr. Stelmach. Going into the office I felt like I was walking into a spa, the staff was amazing, but my results we're excatly what I had expected. I explained to Dr. Stelmach that I was terrified of getting any dental work done and he explained to me about the IV sedation process. I was told that I would feel no pain during being under IV sedation, and he was right. I felt nothing and honestly I don't remember anything but I feel great. I want to tell the world about my awesome cosmetic dentist! I was referred to Dr. Stelmach by a friend of mine who is a plastic surgeon and very picky. I had a set of Lumineers done on my smile a couple of years ago and I wasn't happy with them from the get go but my old dentist talked me into accepting them. I was really apprehensive about getting them replaced because I didn't want to go through the time and expense of replacing them unless I got a perfect result. Dr. Stelmach was so great at listening to my concerns. He took the time to make digital before and after photos. He made a set of before and after models. After we got started he took a lot of time to make my temporary veneers look exactly like I wanted my final smile to look like. I just got my final veneers today and I am ecstatic! A year ago, I found out that I needed a lot of work done on my teeth. My old dentist scared me with the big needles that he used for injections, but luckily, I found Dr. Stelmach and The Wand based on reviews from this website.

I am extremely scared of needles and I had a lot of anxiety the first time I saw Dr. Stelmach. But I didn't have anything to worry about--he and his team are great! If you tell them you are scared of shots, they give you the option of having nitrous oxide in addition to topical anesthetic and The Wand. The Wand is great because it doesn't look like a needle, and while it is not completely painless, it's nowhere near as scary as an injection. Dr. Stelmach made me feel so relaxed during my visits that I stopped having anxiety and soon going to the dentist really wasn't a big deal for me--even when I had to get multiple crowns and fillings done.

Dr. Stelmach is more expensive than other dentists in LA, but he's worth the extra cost. Even after I used up all of my insurance benefits, I was still willing to pay for him out-of-pocket, rather than find a cheaper dentist. To me, it's worth paying a little more to be comfortable, relaxed, and anxiety-free!

Just a brief review to say how pleased I am with Dr. Stelmach's services. I went to Dr. Stelmach

after another dentist did a poor job of installing a crown that caused me a lot of pain. Dr. Stelmach

not only did a terrific job of fixing the other dentist's mistake (the tooth is now pain free), but also worked with my insurance company to see it was covered. My insurance company was not happy about paying to have the tooth fixed a second time, but Dr. Stelmach's office manager, Aurora, took the time to write the insurance company explaining in detail how the initial repair was flawed and requesting that the work to repair the tooth be honored. The insurance company complied and so my out of pocket expense was minimized.

The hygienists and the staff in the office are top notch. This is a great operation across the board.

This office is fantastic! I have just finished with my Invisalign and I couldn't be happier. I had a complicated case (or so I was told by my last dentist) and thought I couldn't be treated with Invisalign. I ended up at Dr. Stelmach's office on the recommendation of a friend who told me that if anyone could do it Dr. Stelmach can. He really stepped up to the plate and took on my challenging case. He told me that it was going to take longer than conventional braces but since I didn't want conventional braces I told him to go for it. I'm so glad that I did. Bad teeth run in my family so I have seen a number of dentists over the years. I am under the care of both Dr. Stelmach (dentistry) and Dr. Rosenblatt (periodontist). Before I started seeing Dr. Stelmach I had lost a couple of my molars. I was referred to Dr. Stelmach after Dr. Rosenblatt placed implants to replace the missing teeth. After going to a celebrity dentist for 15 years, a crown fell off and he cemented it on. I called the next day as I was in the worst pain I've ever had. After making me wait for 10 days it turned out that cement was stuck under the gum which caused the pain. He seemed annoyed instead of sorry for the pain he caused me for so long. I decided then that I wouldn't go back. I had to see my oral surgeon, who I love, to remove a piece of cement that was underneath the gum. I asked him for a referral and he recommended Dr. Stelmach. A few months later a crown on an implant was loose so I saw Dr. Stelmach. After a careful examination he determined that the screw in the implant was loose. He was amazingly kind and caring and went above and beyond the call of duty. He called my oral surgeon and found out that the implant wasn't made anymore. After researching the internet and many phone calls he located parts that would fit. In order to save me money he invented a way of replacing the screw without damaging the crown. He drilled a hole through my crown and was able to replace the screw and crown without damaging the crown, saving me thousands of dollars. He was so gentle I didn't feel a thing. He and his staff were also so kind and caring.

Dr Stelmach is very friendly and very thorough. He told me about a tooth that looked weak on my first visit to his office but I guess I was scared to do anything about it so I let it go. The tooth ended up breaking just like he said it would but the cool thing about everyone in his office was that no one did the "I told you so" routine. I have been a patient of Dr. Stelmach for about 4 years now. He has been wonderful. I had a bad experience at my previous dentist and ended up loosing a tooth. I have dentists in my family on the East Coast, so I'm very particular about what I'm looking for. The first dentist I went to since moving to the West Coast raised a number of red flags. He told me I had two cavities, which I found odd considering I was twenty-four at the time and never had a cavity in my life. I felt like this other doctor only saw my teeth as little cash registers. I turned to THIS WEBSITE for help. That's where I found DR. THOMAS STELMACH. I had been going to the same dentist for over 15 years. He has many doctor and celebrity patients. I was in terrible pain after he recemented a crown and I called as something was wrong. He told me to wait. The pain got worse and I kept calling. After 10 days he saw me. There was cement pressing on and under my gum. I had to go to an oral surgeon to have it removed. The dentist not only never apologized, he said that he wouldn't charge me for the visit like he was doing me a favor. I knew I'd never go back.

I was referred to Dr. Stelmach by my oral surgeon and my periodontist. I had a problem with a loose screw to an implant. One option was to break the crown to get it off and possibly have to replace the implant as the pieces that fit together could all break. I couldn't afford this. Dr. Stelmach was amazing and rose to the challenge. First he located the parts since it was an old implant. Then he figured out a way to correct everything without losing the crown and implant. He had never had this particular problem before so he invented the solution. Not only did it work perfectly, it was painless and cost 25% less. He is also so caring and so is his office who called the next day to ask how I was doing. He's a gentle genius.

About Hygienist: The hygienists at the office are amazing! The best teeth cleaning I've had in a long time. Several of my teeth were bonded when I was a kid to correct discoloration (bonding is what they did prior to veneers). This can make teeth cleaning tricky, as the hygienist has to get close enough to the bonding to clean, but needs to be careful not to chip them. Lynette always does a fantastic job (and also make sure I have numbing gel on my gums so that it's pain-free). Just like Dr. Stelmach, her work is precise and careful. Also like everyone else at Dr. Stelmach's office, she is warm & caring & fun to chat with.

I have a hard time finding a dentist that is good at what he/she does with a staff to match. Luckily I found Dr. Stelmach and his wonderful staff to ease my worries.

I walked in hoping that they accepted new patients and thankfully they did. I had my first appointment which was a cleaning with the hygienist and an exam with Dr. Stelmach and I was pleasantly surprised. They were fantastic!!

The entire staff was friendly and outgoing and listened to what my needs/concerns were and met them with great expectations. I moved to L.A. five years ago and just never got around to finding a new dentist. All that waiting and a bunch of old fillings meant trouble. I woke up one morning in excruciating pain and needed to find a dentist quickly. I searched the Internet and found this page with all these awesome reviews of Dr. Stelmach, so I called up his office.

The office staff were very friendly and had me come in right away. That morning, he referred me to an endodontist, who was incredible, and I returned to him soon after to continue my treatment. When I returned to Dr. Stelmach, he gave me two amazing crowns, so good that no one would ever know they're not my own teeth. At one point, he sent me to the nearby lab to have them touched up a little bit so they'd be an exact match. The office is very high tech and the procedure was painless! His commitment to detail is only surpassed by his obvious talent and love for what he does.

Dr. Stelmach was never anything but positive and downright friendly. I love his office, it doesn't feel like a dentist office at all. The fact that you're watching a movie while getting work done is a welcome distraction. His staff is downright stellar; each and every one of them are sincerely nice people!

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Stelmach for several years and have been very happy with him and his practice. Both his staff and outside colleagues hold him in the highest regard as a practitioner.

His staff and facilities are first-rate. He has a great chair-side manner and is sure to listen and explain things so that the patient understands. He also publishes a dental newsletter for patients, which speaks to his desire to educate (something I've never seen another office do).

At one point we ended up switching to a dental HMO and seeing another dentist to save money. Needless to say, we returned to Dr. Stelmach's office at the first chance. His treatment is worth every dime if you are looking for quality dental care, honest business practices, friendly and professional staff, and a nice, stress-free environment.

I can't thank Dr. Stelmach enough for my new smile! While I have been procrastinating about getting my teeth done (due to fear and time), I finally decided after 40 to take the plunge. While I first started my treatment plan with trepidation, Dr. Stelmach's warm, caring and sensitive manner, put me at ease and my anxiety was gone. I now have the smile I've always wanted and it is BEAUTIFUL ! (20 veneers later!!) My old smile was just gray and dark and now I can SMILE again.
