Patient Review 1:

Dr. Matthew is possibly the best dentist I've ever found, and I've been to MANY over the last 35 years. He is skillful and does excellent work. He's very focused when he's working on my mouth and obviously interested in doing his best. He listens closely to questions and answers with a lot of good information. His office is up to date with modern technology, and he does not oversell and push for unnecessary procedures.

His dental hygienist Deanna is also very good and really knows what she's doing. She's more thorough than any other hygienist I've been to. She also answered all of my questions with lots of information.

His office staff is very friendly and they too are happy to answer every question I've had.

I don't have dental insurance, and I found Dr. Matthew was always willing to work with me on payments. This website won't let me rate his Cost as Extremely Cheap, but for cleanings, digital x-rays, and having all of my silver fillings replaced with composites, he always gave a competitive price.

I had to drive out of my way every time I went to see Dr. Matthew, and it was ALWAYS worth it.

If any dentist truly deserves a 4 or even 5 star review, this is the man!

Dr. Matthew is the most gentle and efficient (speed with excellence) dentist I have ever had. He has done my root canals, treated dead teeth (ugh!), done fillings, repaired crowns, replaced silver and other things that my teeth have needed. No pain, no dread going there.

I feel like family at Dr. Matthew's office. My husband and adult son go to him too.

Gentle touch, pleasant office atmosphere, awesome staff. What more could you want from a dental office!?

In the past I had a horrible experience with the dentist. I had to get three root canals done that were not even necessary. I then came to Dr. Matthew scared but in need of help. I'm not the kind of guy that would wright a review but this man deserves to be recognized. He saved my teeth and my anxiety. He is extremely gentle, not to mention a perfectionist. This is the best dentist on earth! I'm very afraid of sharp metal objects in my skull::::::> who isn't? And I have senstive gums. And it's an intimate thing having someone all up in your mouth business like that!! I went through 10 dentists before I arrived at this one. The vigilant search was driven by fear, which is totally crazy, but so glad I findly found this office. The hygenist and the dentist are both wonderful people who really know how to ease the pain and get the job done right. Couldn't recommend it any higher!

start to finish a proffesional Dr that kept me feeling very comfortable with the procedure (root canal and crown) and I was stress free. NO PAIN!!! HAHA wow!!!!! I am an Internal Medicine physician and heard of Dr. Matthew through one of my patients. He fixed work that had been done very poorly by my old dentist and just finished two new crowns. Dr. Matthew's office is furnished with the best medical equipment. I was able to see my x-rays and review them with him. He explained everything he planned on doing and really impressed me with his technical skill and medical knowledge. I would highly recommend him and now pass on his businees card to my patients in need.

In the past, I remembered the shots being very painful but he has some sort of device that makes injections pain free. I never feel a thing. His front office staff is very friendly and accommodating. I was always afraid to go to the dentist untill I came to Dr. Matthew's office. He is very comforting and treats me very special. He is laso good at what he does. He is definately a perfectionist, and will not stop untill everything is perfected. His staff are amazing and know me like family now. Its always nice to hear them call me and confirm appointments, because there is always a cheerfull person on the other end of the line. i have been around the block a few times in the dentist world and this is by far the best dentist i have been to since i can remember. Dr. Matthew took over from a dentist I really liked and had been going to for years so I was unsure I wanted to stay but decided to give the next dentist a chance. Dr. Matthew is very meticulous in the work he does. Been to many dentists over the years and always had some trouble with crowns not fitting right and re-dos. So far I can tell by his work they fit great the first time and I have had NO follow up issues at all. Lots of dentists may know what they are doing but are sloppy or to quick and dont do a good job. Not the case here. You really can tell he takes the time to make sure it is perfect. Using digital xrays he takes the time to tell you what is going on and although he may recommend you do something, he doesnt have attitude if you dont want it or want to delay it. He is open and honest about it all.

Clean modern equipment and tv to watch if you like. Pretty easy to get an appointment when you need it (until word gets around and he gets to busy!)

Best dentist I have had in all my years ( and I'm 52).

About Hygienist: Hygenist Deanna is really very good. She gets in there for a great cleaning, but is in control so she is not "slipping or nicking" you like so many others I have tried do. Plus she has a personality which I like when someone is in your mouth...dont take that the wrong way!

Had a routine filing replaced. First treatment by Dr. Matthew. Always uneasy about the novacaine injection, but they use a machine that controls the flow the novacaine instead of a syringe. I didn't even feel the needle go in and the process of getting numb was 100% pain free. I told a number of people later that day about the process. No one had experienced that procedure but were all ears upon hearing about my experience. The process of replacing the filing was a breeze after that. Doctor and assistant worked seamless together and I didn't experience an ounce of pain after the numbness wore off. How cool is that?

Fantastic dentist. Caring staff. This is a wonderful dentist.

I had to have a crown replaced last year. Having worked my way through college as a dental assistant, I am very particular about my dental work. I can tell the difference between first class work and mediocrity. I also value a dentist's senstivity to a patients fears. Dr. Matthew and his staff are superb; both in the absolute perfection of the percedures performed and their sensitivity to their patients comfort. The office is very clean and decorated beautifully. This was my first time with Dr. Matthew and I must say that this was, without a doubt, the best experience visiting a dentist that I have had in many, many years. I went for a routine cleaning and examination but also ended up getting a sorely needed crown. How do I know I needed it? He actually took a picture of the tooth so that I could see it; it was bad! Anyway, the procedure was completed over several weeks and I couldn't be more satisfied. It was relatively painless; seriously. I was surprised that there as little as there was considering the amount of drilling he did. Also, the facilities are pristine, with all the latest equipment to help make the procedures smooth and timely. And I cannot forget the receptionist, Glenda, and the assistant, both of whom were very helpful, with no pressure whatsoever; that's something I'm not used to. If there is any downside at all it would be that he is not in my PPO system which means I pay a little more, but that is offset by the fact that he does not charge as much as most dentists in my area, so when it's all said and done I really don't pay that much more... and what little bit extra that I do pay, it's well worth it... believe me.

About Hygienist: The hygienist, Dianna, is another reason I give Dr. Matthew such a high rating. I have to say that she had her work cut out for her with the stains I had on my teeth, but her pleasant manner and thoroughness left my teeth the brightest I have seen in a long time. I promised to take better care of them... and I will.

As a survivor of the 1960's I never thought about how important my dentist would be when I reached this age. In the mid 1990's, after neglecting my teeth for many years, I started to develop some serious dental issues. I had been to many dentists over the following decade but never felt confident enough with any of them to make the major commitment necessary to begin my dental rehabilitation until I met Dr. Matthew. With Dr. Matthew I felt that I had finally found a dentist who had MY best interests at heart. My gum disease is finally under control and I can smile again. Dr. Matthew has helped me fix my teeth following many years of poor dental hygiene. I came to him to repair a broken tooth, which required a root canal. Despite my fears, the procedure was virtually painless, including the anesthetic shots. Several fillings were done, all of which looked so natural that I could not tell them apart.

Dr. Matthew has been my dentist for about 4 years and I have always had nothing but good things to say about his work.

The front receptionist and staff were friendly and courteous. Dr. Matthew did my veneers recently and gave me the most beautiful smile and my level of confidence soared. Dr. Matthew is attentive and provides excellent guidance and information concerning required dental care. I was very happy with his professionalism and expertise. Dr. Matthew was great! I chipped my front tooth while playing basketball. Dr. Matthew did a veneer on it and I swear you can't tell the diference. Changing dentists when one moves to a new town is always a very stressful experience. I am a dental phobic and Dr Matthew and his personnel were extremely kind and understanding; going out their way to make me more comfortable and offering ways for me to destress before my appointments! He has a gentle voice and easy manner and his assistant was encouraging and patient.

When I am nervous or anxious, I need to use the bathroom; a LOT! Which, as you can imagine, makes it difficult for the dentist to complete any procedure in a timely manner. Dr Matthew's and his team were extremely accommodating and patient, offering me early morning appointments so that I wouldn't distrupt the office schedule or miss getting to work on time because of this potential to delay. The only wish I have, is that they had a bathroom in the office!

Glenda sat with me and we worked out a payment plan; we knew up front that the work required would be more than my insurance would cover. I, again was struck by how kind and patient she was with me as just the ideal of dentistry overwhelms me.

Dentistry is expensive and has definitely changed since was last in the chair. I can't say that I enjoyed myself, but with great appreciation will not only be back, but have made several referrals at work.

I went to see Dr. Matthews after looking around quite a while for a great dentist.

This site was wonderfully helpful as finding a dentist is like finding a good pair of jeans -- there is much time needed and loads of uncomfortable fittings before you find the right pair!

I got my teeth cleaned and then saw Dr. Matthews afterwards. The staff was so friendly and while getting my cavities filled, I watched a movie on the sweet flat screen positioned on the wall. Dr. Matthews has top of the line equipment, is knowledgeable and works fast. I felt incredible comfortable with Dr. Matthew's and his staff and actually look forward to going back to get for my free whitening kit.

About Hygienist: Michelle is officially the best hygienist ever. She told me when she started that she told great stories that made the time go by faster -- and she did not disappoint. The cleaning ended up being one of the best!

All of the equiptment is new and the location is right off the freeway so it is easy to get you. There was no excessive waiting around and Dr. Matthew was very personable. He quickly identified all of the problem areas - letting me know when and in how long it would be wise to fix certain things - but without pushing anything I did not need.

Dr. Mathew seems very quality oriented in all areas. He does use top quality materials which do cost more and most insurance doesnt cover it all, so keep that in mind that you will need to pay more... but I think in the long run it is worth it. His dental work for crown replacment was excellent. The crowns fit perfect. Previous dentist always had problems with fit and my wife had previous bite problems that agravated her jaw from bad crowns. Dr. Mathew's crown fit my wife perfect the first time out and her jaw pain went away. Office is very clean and they practice top notch sanitation procedures, even clearing the water out of the pipes before they squirt it in your mouth. The hygenist they have are the best ever. Very detailed and sensitive. So far, it's easy to get appointments. To many top ratings may change that ! Best dentist and group I've ever had.

Went to Dr. Matthew for second opinion on work done by a previous dentist. I was in significant pain my first visit. Office was immaculate, front desk staff were very welcoming. I was given a tour of facility and introduced to the staff. I was very nervous due to a fear of dental work. Dr. Matthew set me at ease. He showed me the problems using digital pictures and flat screen monitors, discussed with me and recommended solutions. Excellent chair-side manner. Best I have had. Went back for a root canal on damaged tooth. No shots! He uses the dental wand to numb. All the latest technology. Procedure went extremely well. No pain anymore!! Also received a crown. All procedures done in professional and gentle manner. Dr. Matthew and his staff are everything a dental patient wants from a dental provider. I cannot recommend any more highly. I've been going to Dr. Matthew for a few years, but this was my first visit to his new office. I am very pleased with the new office. The staff was very helpful and friendly. My experience with the digital x-rays and routine cleaning was the best I've ever had. I normally struggle with a bad gag reflex, but did not have a single problem throughout the entire visit. I'm sure not too many people love going to the dentist, but this was by far the least stressful / anxious visit to the dentist I've ever experienced. I'm not a huge fan of going to the dentist (super-sensitive teeth, highly resistant to anaesthetic), but I was very pleasantly surprised by my experience with Dr. Matthew. He listened to my concerns and rather than take the chance that I would feel the procedures, he patiently waited for my teeth to become numb. Once it was safe to proceed, he was fast and efficient and swapped out my cracked silver fillings for invisible ivory onlays. I can't even tell which teeth he fixed! His office is clean with new equipment and his staff is really nice. I left trying to figure out what I'm going to do next....probably replace the rest of the metal in my teeth and start working on improving my smile.

My experience visiting this new dentist was much more pleasant than I ever thought it would be. Everything about Dr. Matthew's office was state of the art. IN the waiting area, there is soothing music playing which helps to calm the nerves, along with a flat screen TV that makes wait pass very quickly. Flat sceen TV's are also present in each treatment room. Patients have the option to select a DVD to watch during treatment if they choose. The x-rays are also done through the flat screen, and the reuslts are posted immediately, giving the patient a chance the smae thing that the dentist sees.

As far as treatment goes, Dr. Matthew treated me very well. I had a tooth dislodged while playing basketball yesterday. He gave me a shot to numb the gum area and I did not even feel the shot. In fact, he was talking with me during the process and I actually had to stop and ask him if he had given me a shot yet. Dr. Matthew was able to reset my tooh with very limited pain. I will be back to visit him for my nexct appointment.

Like a lot of people I have anxiety about going to the dentist, but Dr. Matthew and his staff made me feel relaxed from the moment I walked through the door.
