Case Description
I am looking for Atridox treatment for my daughter, age 18, who is not very compliant with oral hygiene. I have Delta PPO and work for the University of California. I don't think Delta will cover it. I'm looking for a reasonable cost. I want to prevent serious health issues for her. She had had deep cleaning twice and antibiotics twice. She is getting a little better but is oppositional. Thanks for your help. Anne Taylor-Loughran - aetaylor1@yahoo.com

Are You This Patient?
When selecting a new doctor, consider the following:
Quality of Explanations: Compare dentist replies. Give preference to well-reasoned, detail-oriented, transparent explanations.
Experience & Qualifications: If a dentist has a practice listing, check their practice description,
special training, typical office procedures and before & after case photographs.
Other Patients' Freedback: If a dentist has reviews, read other patients' reviews. The more
reviews they have, the more likely it is that other patients' feeback is accurate.
Treatment Costs: Dental procedure costs vary from practice to practice and depend on a variety of factors.
Because quality of patient care and treatment results vary from practice to practice most dentists will not "price-match" treatment fees of others.
We provide arestin for the same periodontal issue. We can find out if your insurance covers the procedure. We would like to see your daughter for an examination and evaluation of her periodntal disease to find out how many sites need treatment. Please feel free to contact us and we would be more than happy to help you out.
Hi there,Our office would be more than happy to examine your daughter and determine what is necessary. We also have a great periodontist who is in the officeTuesdays. Most of the time chemotherapeutics are an insurance benefit, especially wth a history of periodontal disease and root planing.Look forward to meeting you.Dr. L
Cost Estimate: $ No Estimate at this time. Additional information required.
Well for treatment such as these I use Periostat which is injected into stubborn pockets. It does range between 35-45 dollars per injection site,so each patient is different. Delta PPO has yet to cover these types of treatments. Dr Thomas Beverly Hills Ca
Hello,I think your daughter''''s periodontal condition should be evaluated by a periodontist if it has not been done yet. She is too young to require two deep cleanings and antibacterial treatment . she might have Juvenile periodontal disease that might require more aggressive treatment, unless it is just gingivitis that should be resolved by good oral hygiene.
