When selecting a new doctor, consider the following:
Quality of Explanations: Compare dentist replies. Give preference to well-reasoned, detail-oriented, transparent explanations.
Experience & Qualifications: If a dentist has a practice listing, check their practice description,
special training, typical office procedures and before & after case photographs.
Other Patients' Freedback: If a dentist has reviews, read other patients' reviews. The more
reviews they have, the more likely it is that other patients' feeback is accurate.
Treatment Costs: Dental procedure costs vary from practice to practice and depend on a variety of factors.
Because quality of patient care and treatment results vary from practice to practice most dentists will not "price-match" treatment fees of others.

Lumineers are wafers of porcelain that are bonded onto an unprepped tooth. This means that the tooth will be slightly thicker than how it started in its native state. Patients who have rotated teeth or proclined teeth (positioned outwards) will have difficulty with this procedure.Porcelain veneers are a great way to alter the shape colour and position of teeth if you can prepare or remove a miniscule amount of tooth structure. In general the more room you give to the ceramist the better the result will turn out this means removing enough . In other words, an under reduced tooth will often look too bulky.Hope this helps.Dr. L

Hi 9866Lumineers have come a long way and are very promising. What I love about them is that we don't have to prepare your teeth (cut them). Nothing is as strong, or lasts as long, as your own natural teeth, and the fact that we can remove these and get you back to the original condition is very reassuring and comforting for us as practitioners. What is imperative for you to understand is the fact that every person has a unique situation and this treatment option might not be best suited for them. If my patients are candidates (this means that I can achieve their desired and expected results) than I will highly encourage them to pursue Lumineers. The only way to know if you are a candidate is to conduct a complete and comprehensive examination.I hope this helps
